At 10,500-foot elevation. There are 11 campsites. Maximum spur length is 33 ft. The campground is a single loop located between the Weir Johnson and Sackett Reservoirs. The trees are primarily Engelmann spruce. Some sites overlook one or the other reservoir.

No. Weir and Johnson Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Collbran, CO, at Access Grand Mesa sign, take County Road 58 south 1.9 miles. Turn left at the T for 5.8 miles to Forest Road #521. Note: County Road 58 Road becomes County Road 59 Road. Continue straight on Forest Road #521 for about 7.2 miles to junction with Forest Road #126. Turn left at Weir and Johnson Campground sign and go 2.8 miles to the campground.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
