The Big Creek Campground is accessed from the town of Collbran, CO. There is hiking, OHV trails, fishing and jeep roads are nearby. Most of the campsites are shady with a maximum spur length 33 ft.

No. Big Creek Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Cedaredge, CO, take State Highway 65 north 12.6 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 121 and go 10 miles. Campground is on the west side of road. From Collbran, CO, at Access Grand Mesa sign, take 58 Road south 1.9 miles. Turn left at the T for 5.8 miles to Forest Road 521. Note: 58 Road becomes 59 Road. Continue straight on Forest Road 521 for about 7.2 miles. Campground is on the west side of road. Look for the sign.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
