Part of the Whitney Portal Recreation area located 13 miles from the town of Lone Pine, California. The main campground has 43 single campsites. Some sites may be reserved in advance, while others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Some parking sites up to 35 ' long. Firewood for sale. Water, vault toilets, and bear food storage lockers available.
