Located six miles west of the town of Lone Pine, CA, at 5,800 ft. elevation this campground is seven miles from the popular Whitney Portal Recreation Area. The Whitney Portal National Recreation Trail begins at west end of the campground. Other popular activities near the campground include hiking, exploring the Alabama Hills, and fishing. Firewood for sale at the campground. Bear food storage lockers available. Sites up to 40 feet long. Some sites may be available first come, first serve.
