This campground has 12 sites and is a great location for hiking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and mountain biking in summer and early fall. Nearby Bumping Lake offers visitors opportunities for boating, swimming and fishing. The campground is adjacent to William O Douglas Wilderness. Several trails are nearby making tis campground a perfect spot for a base camp. The American Ridge Trail travels through 26 miles of forest, mountain meadows and high elevation lakes from the Bumping River to Pacific Crest Trail. Nearby Goose Prairie Trail is another option.

From Naches, WA travel west on Highway 12 for 4.4 miles. Continue straight onto Highway 410 W for 27.5 miles. Near milepost 88 turn left onto Bumping River Rd / Forest Road 1800. Travel 6 miles to campground entrance which is on the left.
