A recreation rental cabin on the Bozeman District. Location: 35 mi. SW of Bozeman, MT Reservations necessary on recreation.gov. This remote cabin is not accessible by car. Summer access is via off-road vehicle, motorcycle or hiking for 8 miles. Winter access is by snowmobile for 14 miles. Maximum number of people: 2 (this is a small one-room cabin) Stock Facilities: Pasture

How do I get to Yellow Mule?
Travel south of Big Sky approximately 14 miles from Highway 191 via the Buck Creek Ridge Road and Buck Creek Ridge Trail #10. Visitors must hike 8 miles from the trailhead to reach the cabin. Motorcycle or ATV access is also possible during the summer.
