The cabin is located at the edge of the beautiful Lee Metcalf Wilderness, at the foot of the Madison Range. The cabin is used as an administrative site in the summer and fall but is available for rental 12/1-4/30 annually. Bear Creek runs near the cabin and bunkhouse.

From Ennis take Highway 287 south 11 miles to Cameron, MT. From Cameron turn east on Bear Creek Loop approximately8 miles following signs to site. Call Madison Ranger District at 406-682-4253 for detailed directions.
Camping is not allowed at this site. Stock is not permitted within the fence around the cabins and must be properly contained. Forestwide stay limit: Camping in an area, campsite, or developed campground is limited to 16 accumulated days within any 30 day
