Located within a bend of the Jacks Fork River, Blue Spring Campground is a popular destination throughout the year. In summer, visitors can enjoy freshwater floating, swimming, fishing, and more. In winter and fall, nature unveils brilliant colors and large bluffs. Note: Blue Spring Campground should not be confused with the Blue Spring on the Current River, east of Eminence. Ozark National Scenic Riverways does not offer camping at Blue Spring on the Current River.

Blue Spring Campground is located about 15 minutes from Mountain View, MO. Starting in Mountain View, drive east on Highway 60. After 3 miles, turn left onto Highway OO. Drive north on Highway OO for about 2.5 miles. After a large bend in the road, it will intersect with County Road OO-493. Take the left turn onto OO-493. Follow the main path for about 2 miles, after which it will dead-end into Blue Spring Campground. This route requires driving on gravel roads for about 2 miles.
Ozark National Scenic Riverways is located in southeast Missouri. Summer temperatures generally range from 75-100 degrees with high humidity. Winter temperatures generally range from 0-50 degrees with periods of intermittent freezing and snow.
