This campground has 52 campsites (32 with electricity) and is on the northern shore of the Whiteface Reservoir, surrounded by a mix of aspen, spruce, balsam, and pine trees. The camping sites are suitable for tents and RVs. Six of the sites are available for monthly reservations and six of the sites are available for seasonal reservations. Electrical hookups are available at this campground. The day use facilities include a sandy beach with picnic tables and grills, a boat landing, playground area and hiking trail. The fee camping season runs from May to mid-September, the campground does remain open at reduced service and no fee into November depending on weather conditions. ATVs are not allowed to be driven in the recreation area. Whiteface Reservoir water levels are controlled by Minnesota Power and may fluctuate over the summer. The Whiteface Reservoir is popular for walleye fishing. A campground host is on site during the reservation season at Site 42.
