Situated on the shore of a 55-acre lake, the Pfeiffer Lake Campground has many facilities for the one-day family outing or a two-week camping trip. This campground has 16 campsites, and free day-use facilities include a sandy beach with picnic tables and grills, a boat landing, playground area, fishing deck and hiking trial. The camping sites are suitable for tents and RVs. Showers and electrical hookups are not available at this campground. The fee camping season runs from May through mid-September. The campground does remain open at reduced service and no fee into November depending on weather conditions.

From Virginia, Minnesota, take Highway 53 north for 21 miles to County Road 22. Turn onto County Road 22 and travel east for 10 miles. Turn south on Forest Road 256 and travel 1.2 miles to Pfeiffer Lake Campground.
