Designated camping area in the West Brush Creek drainage, close to Crested Butte. 8 sites are available and camping is allowed only in designated sites. Each site has a fire ring and is marked with a unit marker.

Yes. West Brush Creek Camping Area is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Crested Butte, take CO-135 South 2 miles and turn left on Brush Creek Rd (County Road 738). Approximately 6 miles, at the fork, go left on Forest Road 738.2A for West Brush Creek. Follow the road to find designated campsites.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
