Designated camping area with six sites and no amentities. Each sites has a fire ring and is marked with a unit marker. Sites 1-4 are accessible by high clearance vehicle, sites 5 and 6 are only accessible by a motorized trail that does not permit full size vehicles. Camping allowed only in designated sites.

How do I get to Farris Creek Camping Area?
From Crested Butte, follow Hwy 135 south for approximately 2 miles, and turn left on County Road 738. Follow County Road 738 for four miles to the junction with Forest Road 736 (Strand Hill). Take Forest Road 736 to the end. High clearance vehicles recommended.
