Designated camping area in the Cement Creek drainage, close to Crested Butte. 3 sites are available and camping is allowed only in designated sites. All sites are 4x4 access only. Each site has a fire ring and is marked with a unit marker.

How do I get to Walrod Camping Area?

From Crested Butte, take Hwy 135 south for 5 miles. Turn left on County Road 740 (Cement Creek Road). Follow County Road 740 for 3.5 miles. Walrod Gulch Road is on the left. High clearance, 4x4 vehicles required.
