Visitors will continue to notice significant changes in the drainage over the next few years as more and more spruce trees succumb to the natural succession from the beetle infestation. The Crags campground has 17 campsites for tents, small RV's, or small trailers. It is located in an "out of the way " area and is highly used depending on the time of day and year.The Crags Trail #664 and the Devil's Playground Trail #753 start near the campground at the Crags Trailhead located 1/8 mile before the campground.This is a standard, non-electric campground. It is also a pack it in, pack it out campground.Access to the campground is on a narrow, winding and very rough dirt road.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service.

No. The Crags Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
The Crags Campground is located southeast of Divide and is reached by driving 4.3 miles south of Divide on CO Highway 67. Turn left on Forest Road 383 and drive another 3.5 miles east.
The following restrictions apply to this campground : Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
