Thunder Ridge Campground has 21 campsites with parking areas that are at least 30'. Sites 7, 8, and 21 have been developed for disabled accessibility. Facilities include tables, fire grates, drinking water, vault toilets, and trash collection. This is a standard, non-electric campground.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service.

No. Thunder Ridge Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Colorado Springs, travel west on Hwy 24 for about 24 miles to Woodland Park. Turn north on Baldwin (which becomes Rampart Range Road). Go about 2 miles to Loy Creek Road, turn right and then to FDR 300 (Rampart Range Road) turn right. Follow signs. Rampart Reservoir entrance is about 4 miles further on the left.
The following restrictions apply to this campground : Dogs must be leashed at all times. Horses are not permitted on trails. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE. Potable water; drinking water.
