This campground is located approximately 5 miles north of Woodland Park. There are paved roads within the campground connecting the 64 sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. This campground is adjacent to the Centennial Trail, a paved trail between Manitou Lake and the town of Woodland Park. The campground is open from early May through late October, weather permitting. Reservations are recommended between Memorial Day and Labor Day.This is a standard, non-electric campground. All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service.

No. South Meadows Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 25 miles to Woodland Park. From Woodland Park travel five miles north on Highway 67 to the South Meadows Campground.
The following restrictions apply to this campground : Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE. Potable water.
