About this place

Indian Creek Equestrian Campground has seven campsites with parking spurs 50-60 ft. long to accommodate horse trailers. Only 10 people and four horses max per campsite. Please use certified weed-free hay only.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available through September 27, 2021.

How do I get to Indian Creek Horse Camp?

Drive south from Denver, Colorado on U.S. Hwy 85 (Santa Fe St.) to Sedalia. Turn right (west) onto Douglas County Road 67. Drive on Hwy 67 slightly over 10 miles (from Sedalia) to the Indian Creek Campground, which is located approximately 2 miles. Turn right into the campground. There is a small fee parking area outside the campground. The trailhead is just to the right of the parking area. Both the Indian Creek Campground and the Equestrian Campground are fee areas–even for parking.

What are the rules at Indian Creek Horse Camp?

The following restrictions apply to this campground : Please use certified weed-free hay only. Maximum parking spur is 60 Maximum 8 persons per site, 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
