How do I get to Blue Lake Campground?
To get there from La Veta, drive south on SH 12 for 13 miles to FSR 422. Turn right onto FSR 422 and follow it for 4 miles until you reach the Blue Lake Campground.
What are the rules at Blue Lake Campground?
The following restrictions apply to this campground : Maximum 10 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle (RV). Maximum length of RV is 40 feet. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE. Drinking water is provided by a well with a hand pump.
