Sundew Campground is a great place to start your adventures at Bucks Lake. Most sites are either on the water or have a view of the water. From Sundew you can launch your kayak, stroll along the shoreline, or jump in for a swim. Larger boats can be launched at the nearby Sandy Point Day Use Area.

No. Sundew (family Campground ) charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Quincy, go west on County Road 414, to the intersection with Bucklin Road. Turn right on Bucklin Road and travel approximately 4 miles to Sundew Campground. From Oroville, go east on County Road 414, to the intersection with Bucklin Road. Turn left on Bucklin Road and travel approximately 4 miles to Sundew Campground.
