Lower Bucks Campground is along the north shore of Lower Bucks Lake, just downstream from the much larger Bucks Lake. Campers who seek out the lower lake find a more secluded camping area on the shore of a pretty little lake. Sites are availabelon a first come-first serve basis. Fishing and boating are popular, along with swimming and hiking. The Sandy Point Day Use area and boat ramp at Bucks Lake are a little more than 2 miles away. Lower Bucks Campground has 7 lakeside sites and a small boat launch. The campsites are well separated along the shore. A Boy Scout camp is located nearby. The Scout camp is often rented to other youth and church groups.

From Quincy, go west on County Road 414, to the intersection with Bucklin Road. Turn right on Bucklin Road and travel approximately 4 miles to Lower Bucks Lake. From Oroville, go east on County Road 414, to the intersection with Bucklin Road. Turn left on Bucklin Road and travel approximately 5 miles to Lower Bucks Lake.
