Pioneer Trail Group Campground is situated in the Pinecrest Basin a group campground with three individual camp sites. Two of the campsites have 50-person capacities; the third campsite can accommodate up to 100-persons. Each site has pedestal BBQ grills, fire rings, several tables (including a food preparation table) and several water hydrants. Each site has a paved parking area of various parking capacities, either 10, 15 or 25 vehicles - depending on the size of the vehicles. A one-mile trail leads from the campground sites to the Pinecrest Lake Day Use Area. Reservations can be made through recreation.gov
