About this place

Deadlun Campground is located at Iron Canyon Reservoir, a 500 acre lake located at an elevation of 2,696 feet. With 15 miles of forested shoreline the reservoir is a pleasant destination for anglers, campers, hunters and 4 wheel drive enthusiasts. Deadlun is a First Come, first Serve campground with 25 sites containing a picnic table and fire ring. A PG&E managed Hawkins Landing has a boat ramp for small boats, there is a network of primitive roads and trails surrounding the reservoir. From here, forest routes and OHV trails can be taken toward Lake McCloud or down towards Shasta Lake. This is a wonderful campground to base your OHV adventures from.

How do I get to Deadlun Campground?

From I-5, take Highway 299 East 35 miles to Big Bend Road (Co. 7M01). On Big Bend Road, drive 17 miles to the town of Big Bend then 5.5 miles to Iron Canyon Reservoir.
