It is convenient to Granite Basin Lake, Granite Mountain Wilderness, and five day-use sites with picnic facilities and trail access. From the corner of Iron Springs Rd. and Williamson Valley Rd in Prescott: Northwest on Iron Springs approximately 3 miles. Right on Granite Basin Rd. Follow road 2.1 miles. Yavapai Campground is on the left.
