This forested horse camp is located in the southwest end of Twisp River Area. Gives access to nearby trails Twisp River Trail #440, South Creek Trail #401 and the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. Loading ramp, hitch rails and feed stations are available. Campground area is intended for stock users. Maximum length of site is 30 feet. No garbage service - please pack out all trash.

No. Twisp River Horse Camp charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
Turn west off State Route 20 onto paved Okanogan County road #9114 (Twisp River road), that turns into forest road #44. After War Creek campground, cross the Twisp River and continue on forest road #4430 which turns into forest road #4435, drive to the end of the road, about 22.6 miles northwest of Twisp.
Wilderness regulations apply in Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. A backcountry permit is required from North Cascades National Park to camp on the National Park.
