Mystery Campground is a small, forested campground located near the Twisp River about 12.5 miles west of Twisp. Enjoy bicycling on quiet gravel roads, or mountain biking on nearby Twisp River Trail, or accessing any of a number of hiking trails that lead into the Lake Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness.

No. Mystery Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Twisp, turn west off Highway 20 onto paved Twisp River Road (County Road 9114) which, at 12 miles, turns into Forest Road 44, and then at 6 more miles, road turns into gravel Forest Road 4440, road forks, stay to the left, drive 0.20 mile to Mystery Campground on the left before bridge crossing (18.5 total miles northwest of Twisp).
