Satsop Center Campground is located just southeast of Wynoochee Lake. Evergreen conifers and hardwoods provide a beautiful wooded setting at this; historic Forest Service work center. This campground; is an ideal location for group gatherings and camping. Nearby Wynoochee Lake provides; opportunities for hiking along Wynoochee Lake Shore Trail #878, boating on the lake, and day use opportunities at Wynoochee Dam and Coho Campground; at; the lakeshore. There are no commercial services available at Wynoochee Lake. The water is very cold so be prepared. Other nearby hiking opportunities include Spoon Creek Falls, Maidenhair Falls; and Church Creek Trail #871. Available campsites & amenities: 7; RV sites (6 w/ full hookups), 17; tent sites (including 5; that can be a group sites), 5 group sites. Potable water, showers and toilets,; are available. Ice and firewood available for purchase.

No. Satsop Center Group Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Montesano, WA head north on the Wynoochee Valley Road (1 mile west of Montesano off Route 12). Drive 35 miles on the Wynoochee Valley Road (Forest Service Road 22) to a major intersection. Stay straight for 0.25 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 23 and drive 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Forest Service Road 2372 and travel 0.5 miles to Satsop Center entrance.
No more than 8 people per single campsite. Maximum stay is 14 days. Pets must be on leash. Trailer and RV 36 foot maximum length.
