Overview Kettle Falls Campground is on the northern section of Lake Roosevelt and convenient to the town of Kettle Falls. The facility has a multi-lane boat launch, making it popular among boaters, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. The Kettle Falls area is rich in the history of American Indians as well as the fur trade; campers can learn more at a park visitor center less than 10 miles away. Lake Roosevelt is a 130-mile lake on the Columbia River created by the Grand Coulee Dam. Named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt, it is part of the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and managed by the National Park Service. Recreation The boat launch is directly within the facility, so many recreation activities can take place from the campground, including boating, fishing and water skiing. However, the lake is not very accessible to swimmers since there is a rocky descent from the campground to the water. Facilities The facility is conveniently located near the town of Kettle Falls and within 10 minutes of grocery stores and other amenities. The visitor center is also in town. This campground has 74 sites and is by reservation only. Natural Features The campground is forested and overlooks Lake Roosevelt. Much of the water originates from glaciers and snow in the cold, high Canadian Rockies, although lake temperatures are pleasant to swim in during summer. The area is abundant with wildlife, including moose, elk, deer and bald eagles. Dozens of species of fish inhabit the lake, such as walleye, bass, rainbow trout, salmon and sturgeon; fishing for sturgeon is now allowed during a limited season. Nearby Attractions The historic St. Paul's Mission, which is run by the National Park Service, is located about two miles from campground. Charges & Cancellations All changes and cancellations must be made through recreation.gov Late Cancellations or Cancellations within the Cut-off Window Individual Campsites: A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a one-night reservation will forfeit the entire amount paid and will not be subject to an additional service fee.

From Kettle Falls, drive north on US 395. Turn left onto WA 25 south. After about ½ mile, turn right onto Old Kettle Road. At the bottom of the hill (4-way intersection), turn left onto Kettle Park Road / S Riverside Avenue. Turn right at the Kettle Falls Campground sign.

What are the rules at KETTLE FALLS CAMPGROUND?
Maximum Stay: Camping is limited to 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period and not more than 60 total nights per calendar year anywhere within Lake Roosevelt. These limits apply to all camping activities within Lake Roosevelt. No more than two vehicles and ten people at each campsite. Check-In: 1:00 PM. Check-Out Time: Noon. Quiet Hours: From 10 pm to 6 am. This includes generators. Nighttime Closures: Campgrounds are closed to non-registered campers from 10 pm to 6am. Site Occupation: All sites MUST be occupied each night. You may not pay for these sites and leave your belongings in them without nightly occupancy. Property left unattended for 24 hours will be considered abandoned. Leave No Trace: The wheels of all vehicles and trailers must be within the designated parking space and not on the roadway or vegetation. Do not attach wires, ropes, or nails to trees or shrubs. Digging, leveling, or other alterations of the ground is not permitted.
