This small campground with only four sites provides easy access to Thunder Mountain Trailhead. This trail is a very popular hiking, biking, horseback riding trail. Priority use given to Equestrian Users. Sites unoccuipied by equestrian user, after 4:00 pm, sites are available to all users types, for One-Night-Only; may be reoccupied after 4:00 pm unoccupied by equestrian user. Available to all users, there is no condition that you must have a horse. This quaint little campground sits in ponderosa pine forests on the beautiful Paunsaugunt plateau with easy access to many sightseeing locations and trail systems. Campsites include picnic table, fire pit, and tent pad. Non-potable livestock water may be available seasonally. No garbage service, please pack it out.
