This is a dispersed camping area with no amenities. There is a small pond and a handful of user-developed sites. Fishing is available at Red Mill Pond and along Big Mill Creek. Users should plan accordingly, practice the 7 principles of Leave No Trace, and look for hazards before setting up camp.

Yes. Red Mill Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS. It is a dispersed area, so there are no hookups, no water and no trash service unless a report below says otherwise.
From Ridgway take SR 948 west to FR 143 south, just past the Brush Hollow Trailhead.
