About this place

This site provides some shade deep in the high desert along Whychus Creek. There are picnic tables and a few campsites on each side of the creek. At lower flows Whychus Creek is fordable by high clearance vehicles.

How do I get to Whychus Crossing Campground?

From Sisters, Oregon: Take Camp Polk Road for 2.6 miles, continue straight onto Wilt Road for 6.5 mils Turn left. Take a slight right onto Whychus Flat Road. Continue straight on Whychus Creek Road. The road crosses Whychus Creek. This ford is crossable at low flows only. There is camping on both sides of the creek.
