Upper Buck Creek is your destination for rustic seclusion in a high mountain setting. Located 30 minutes southwest of Silver Lake, Oregon, ponderosa, lodgepole pine trees, aspen, and willows co-exist with open meadows and marsh land. This quiet forest camp is a great place to relax, fish, walk along the creek, and enjoy nature. Upper Buck Creek features five campsites with fire rings, and one vault toilet. There are no garbage receptacles, so remember to "pack it in, pack it out." There is no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water.

How do I get to Upper Buck Creek Campground?
Upper Buck Creek Campground is located 30 minutes southwest of Silver Lake, Oregon. From the Silver Lake Ranger Station, take Highway 31 northbound for about 1 mile then turn on left County Road 4-10; (also known as Bear Flat Road). Continue of County Road 4-10/Bear Flat Road for 11.5 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 2804 and travel 3.4 miles. Upper Buck Creek Campground will on your left down an unnamed spur; the campground is visible from Forest Road 2804.
