The Hoodview Campground sits on the shores of Timothy Lake, in the shadow of Oregon ' s Mt. Hood. The surrounding forest setting offers spectacular views, several trails for exploration and abundant fishing. The boat launch is for registered campers only. Campground is wheelchair accessible and offers 14 barrier-free campsites for tent and RV camping. There are four hike-in campsites available as well.

No. Timothy Lake- Hoodview Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Sandy, OR, travel east on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road (Rd 42). Turn right on Skyline Road, travel south 9 miles. Turn right on FS Road 57, west 2 miles, turn right at the Hood View Campground entrance sign.
Vehicles 32 ft. max. 10 mph speed limit for motorized boats in the lake.
