About this place
Gone Creek Campground sits on the edge of the Timothy Lake, in the shadows of Mt. Hood, Oregon's highest peak. The lush, green forest surrounding the campground provides campers with ample recreational opportunities. Nearby is the Clackamas Lake Historic Cabin gives campers an old-fashioned cabin experience with its well-preserved features, including a massive rock chimney, knot-free interior paneling and hand-wrought iron work. It provides access to a number of outdoor recreation opportunities including the large Timothy Lake nearby, as well as its namesake lake. Campground is wheelchair accessible.

How do I get to this site?
Directions from Sandy, OR - Travel southeast on Highway 26, across the forest boundary and past Government Camp, to Primary Forest Route 42. Follow 42 south, across the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and back into the national forest, to Primary Forest Route 57. Follow 57 west for approximately two miles to the campground.
