How do I get to Skookum Creek Campground?

Approximately 40 miles northeast of Oakridge, Oregon. From Oakridge, Oregon: Beginning at the intersection of Crestview Street and Oregon State Highway 58 (at the only traffic light along Highway 58 in Oakridge), travel west on State Highway 58 for 2.1 miles. Turn right onto the Westfir-Oakridge Road and follow for 1.3 miles. At the junction with the Westfir Road (which crosses a steel truss bridge on your left) continue to the right and drive to the center of the former logging town of Westfir. At the four-way intersection, continue straight onto Forest Road 19/Aufderheide Drive. Continue approximately 32 miles to the junction with Forest Road 1957 on your right (note that just beyond 1957 is the Box Canyon Guard Station and Box Canyon Horse Camp). ; Turn right onto Forest Road 1957, and travel 3.6 miles to its end at a large parking area. ;

What are the rules at Skookum Creek Campground?

No trailer facilities. Camping is not allowed more than 14 days in a 60 day period. Use of chainsaws in the campground is prohibited. Animals must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
