Reynold Shelter Camping Area is located on the northwest corner of the Boulder Creek Wilderness Area. The Reynolds Shelter was rebuilt in 2022, after it was burned down due to human error. The shelter is located on the south side of the road. There are no garbage services at this camping site, please be prepared to pack out your trash.

Yes. Reynolds Shelter Camping Area is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Glide, OR, follow OR-138 E, turn left onto Steamboat Creek Road, take a slight right onto Forest Service Road (FSR) 3817/Steamboat Creek Road, turn right onto FSR 3850, take a left to stay on 3850, take a slight left onto FSR 200, destination will be on the right.
