Located approximately one hour from; Paisley, Oregon, Happy Camp is a campground ideally located along peaceful Dairy Creek. The stream flows through the middle of the campground, offering fishing opportunities for rainbow trout. At an elevation of 5289, this campground features nine camping sites. All campsites include picnic tables and fire rings, but no garbage receptacles. Remember to "pack it in, pack it out." There is one vault toilet and water is available at Clear Springs Forest Camp, approximately 1.5 miles to the West on Forest Service Road 047. Besides fishing, hiking on the nearby trails, and relaxing at Happy Camp, remember to bring your horseshoes to use at the horseshoe pits, or picnic under the historic shelters. The picnic shelters were built in the 1930's by Civilian Conservation Corps.

Happy Camp Campground, located 1 hour south of Paisley, Oregon. From the Paisley Ranger District office take Highway 31 North/West Street approximately 0.3 miles to Mill Street/County Highway 2-8/Forest Service Road-33. Turn left, go approximately 1.0 miles to fork, stay left on County Highway 2-8/Forest Service Road-33/River Road for 17.5 miles to Forest Service Road-28/North Creek Road. Continue straight onto Forest Service Road-3675 for 2.38 miles, campground on the left.
