Generally open May to October as weather and conditions allow. Access/entry point for the Arc Dome Wilderness Area by the Stuart Creek Trailhead. Trailhead access to Toiyabe Crest tiol Recreation Trail through the Arc Dome Wilderness. A stock loading ramp is available for campers with horses.

Yes. Columbine Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
Follow US 50 one mile west of Austin to State Route 722. Turn left, continue on NV-722 for 7 miles to Route 21 's junction, and turn left. Take Route 21 to the Yomba Indian Reservation, and turn left on to Forest Service Road 119 for 10 miles.
Dogs must be on a leash at the campground. Certified weed free hay required.
