No. Quemado Lake - Pinon Group Sites charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Quemado, travel south on New Mexico Highway 32 for approximately 13 miles. Turn left (east) onto Nwe Mexico State Highway 103, following it about 5 miles to the campground at Quemado Lake.
A 14-day stay limit applies. There is no trash service - pack it in, pack it out. OHV/ATV use is prohibited in the campground. Hunting and shooting are prohibited in the campground.
