The historic Wurtz cabin is about 46 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT on the North Fork Road north of Polebridge. Wurtz has rustic accommodations including propane cook stove, heater, lights, wood stove, and vault toilet. The party size is twelve with two double beds and a bunk bed on the main floor and twin beds in the loft. Please pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly Bears live in the area store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside the cabin. Pets are not allowed at Wurtz. Wurtz Cabin isabout 46 miles north of Columbia Falls, MT on the North Fork Road (County Road #486). To find the North Fork Road take Nucleus Avenue north through Columbia Falls, turn east on Railroad Street at the stop sign, this becomes the North Fork Road as it travels over the railroad overpass. Continue north 46 miles on this road Wurtz is on your left.
