Muskrat Point Campsite is located on the thumb area of the Grand Island National Recreation Area. This site is accessible by boat only. The campsite offers a picnic table, fire ring, food storage locker, beach, and a primitive wilderness latrine.

How do I get to this site?

Grand Island is located in Lake Superior, about one-half mile from the mainland community of Munising, Michigan. The ferry departs from Grand Island Landing, located on M-28, about 3 miles north of downtown Munising, halfway between Munising and Christmas, MI at Powell Point.
