The Loran/Claiborne Camp is provided for camping with ATV's and motorcycles. Camping at Loran Campground is very primitive with no water available. There are trash receptacles and vault restrooms available, along with posted regulations and instructions at the day-use parking area which is located right next to the campsites.

No. Loran Site Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
The Loran/Claiborne Camp is located off U.S. Highway 165. From Alexandria, take US Hwy 165 South through Woodworth for 14 miles to La Hwy 112. Turn right (west) on LA Hwy 112 and travel 2.6 miles to FS Road 258. Turn right (north) and travel 1.5 miles to the Loran Trailhead and Campground. From Forest Hill, take US Hwy 165 North for 2.1 miles. Turn left (west) on LA Hwy 112 West and travel 2.6 miles. Turn right (north) on FS Road 258 and travel 1.5 miles to the Loran Trailhead and Campground.
