About this place
A developed campground with the following attractions: hiking, fishing and boating. At Lake Isabel, non-motorized boating, and fishing. St Charles Creek is close to the campground and may be fished. Access to motorized and non-motorized trails including Cisneros, St. Charles, and Snowslide.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available between May 7, 2021 and October 11, 2021.

No. Southside Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
How do I get to Southside Campground?
From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the south entrance at Lake Isabel, go ½ mile and look for the Southside campground signs.
What are the rules at Southside Campground?
The following restrictions apply to this campground : Maximum 8 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle (RV). Maximum RVlength is 30 ft. Tight turns prevent vehicles over 30 in length from safely maneuvering through this campground. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE. Potable water; limited water available - no water hookups
