Iron Springs Campground has eight campsites for tents and small trailers. This campground is located on the Uncompahgre Plateau, with popular activities such as off-highway vehicle trail riding, mountain biking and big game hunting.

Yes. Iron Springs Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Montrose, take CO-90 (West Main St) west, stay on CO-90 until 6250 Road and go south. Continue for 15 miles on this road as it turns into Dave Wood Road. Turn right on Divide Road and go 14.4 miles to 90 Road, then go left for half a mile. Campground will be on the left.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
