Columbine Campground offers diverse camping opportunities in two units on the Uncompahgre Plateau. The unit on the west side of the Divide Road has several small campsites that are best for small groups and tents. The larger section on the east side of Divide Road has numerous campsites that can accomodate large RVs. Each campsite has a fire ring/grill, and some have tables. Popular activities in the area are hiking, ATV riding, horseback riding, mountain bike riding. The road is unpaved but accessible by 2WD vehicles.

Yes. Columbine Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Confluence Drive in Delta, take CO-348 (Bridge St) until it turns into 25 Mesa Road, approximately 3.5 miles. Follow 25 Mesa Road for 28 miles, to Divide Road (FSR 402). Take a left at the fork. Columbine Campground will be on your left in a quarter mile.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
