Due to scheduled construction on North Union Valley Road, Camino Cove Campground will be closed for the 2019 camping season. Construction activities will cause the site to be inaccessible. This closure is necessary to protect public safety and ensure construction activities are completed on schedule. Yes. Camino Cove Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
Located on northwest shore of Union Valley Reservoir, 17 miles from Highway 50. From Highway 50 go 7 miles north on Ice House Road. Turn left on Peavine Ridge Road, go 3 miles west to Bryant Springs Road, turn right, go 5 miles north past West Point boat ramp. Continue 1.5 miles east to campground turn-off on right.
