Big Rock Campground is an open-year round site that is accessed from Forest Service Road 4N11. 4N11 is closed seasonally from beginning of May to mid-November. During winter months, when Forest Service Road 4N11 is closed, you must hike in 1/8th mile from gate. Amenities: 8 campsites with one designated picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets. Trash receptacles. No piped water available.(Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.)

From Pear blossom proceed east on CA-138 to 131st street and turn right. Proceed 0.5 miles to E Avenue W, proceed for 0.5 miles to Valyermo Rd. Proceed on Valyermo Rd. for 5.9 miles to Big Pines Rd. for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Big Rock Creek Rd. Proceed for 5.6 miles to Big Rock Creek Campground on the right.
