About this place

This is a designated dispersed camping area. Camping allowed only within designated, numbered sites. When the forest is in fire restrictions NO FIRES are allowed at this location. This camp area is fee free and as such it is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out area. Be a good steward of your public lands and help us keep this area FREE by packing out everything your bring in with you. This camping area is located immediately adjacent to the Mogollon Rim Escarpment and several campsites are bordered by a 300+ ' vertical drop. This area is not recommended for families with young children or people who are uneasy with heights.

Yes. Fr 9350 is free to use. It is managed by the USFS. It is a dispersed area, so there are no hookups, no water and no trash service unless a report below says otherwise.

How do I get to Fr 9350?

From AZ State Highway 260 just past milepost 282 turn North onto Forest Road 300 (Rim Road). Travel approximately 5 miles to Forest Road 9350, which will be on the south side of Forest Road 300

What are the rules at Fr 9350?

No amenities are available. This area is pack-it-in / pack-it-out. Please be a good steward of your public land and remove everything you bring in with you. When Fire Restrictions are in effect, no fires are allowed. Forest Road 9350 is a very popular designated dispersed camping area. Campers must camp within designated sites. There are 48 campsites allowing up to 10 people per site. Many sites in this camping area are located on the edge of the Mogllon RIm, and are bordered by a 300'+ vertical drop offering spectacular views of the forested hills below. This camp area is not recommended for families with young children due to this geographic hazard. FR 9350 is a Pack-it-in Pack-it-out area. There is NO TRASH SERVICE and no water available. This area is a dispersed camping area. If the forest has imposed fire restrictions, there are no fires allowed on this road during fire restrictions.
