About this place

Near a scenic beach, the campground was once a village site for the Auk Tlingit Natives. There are 11 camping sites and each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring most meet accessibility standards. There are water faucets and one accessible vault toilet in the campground. It is 15 miles Northwest of Juneau on Glacier Highway.

How do I get to Auk Village Campground?

From the Alaska Marine Highway ferry terminal, turn left and travel approximately one mile. Turn left at Point Louisa Road. After approximately another mile, turn left into the entrance of the campground. From downtown Juneau, travel north on Egan Dr/Glacier Highway approximately 13 miles to Point Louisa Road. Turn left. After approximately another mile, turn left into the entrance of the campground.
