About this place

New Fork Lake Campground is located right on the lake shore of New Fork Lake, among a grove of aspens. This site has a great day use beach adjacent to the campground, with a sandy beach providing fun for the whole family. The 1,070-acre New Fork Lake offers great boating, canoeing and swimming. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon and brook, lake and rainbow trout. A boat ramp is located a mile and a half from the campground, at the lake 's northwestern shore. This is a primitive campground, the access road is not paved, drinking water is not available, and proper Food Storage is Required. How do I get to New Fork Lake Campground?

Starting from the Town of Pinedale, Wyoming, head west on United States Highway 191 (US-191) for 6 miles, then make a right turn onto Wyoming State Highway 352 (WY-352) towards Cora. Follow WY-352 for about 14.4 miles, and bear right at the fork to get onto New Fork Lake Road/County Road-162 (CR-162). Follow CR-162 for about 3 miles, and then the road name changes to New Fork Lake/Forest Service Road-370730 (FS-370730) upon entering the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Follow FS-370730 for less than a mile and turn right at the fork onto FS-370735 and New Fork Lake Campground is the first left. Approximate travel details from the Town of Pinedale: 24 miles, 36 minutes.
