One and a half miles east of the campground there are two trailheads, with corrals for public use, that lead into the Washakie Wilderness. A footbridge that crosses the river exists at the campground, but is closed to use due to safety hazards caused by recent flooding activity. There is a 16-day stay and is accessible to persons with mobility impairments. No cell service. Notes: Hard-sided camping only. Due to grizzly bear activity, no tents or pop-up campers allowed.
